Where do you get the time to draw this fast, like woah?? Your art's consistently good too, which blows me away. Especially with your age and everything. Makes me feel skeptical of your legitimacy at times but honestly it's because I'm kiiiinda jealous of these skills you been showing. The coloring and design in this piece are super cool. Only thing I'd work on is pose since his awkward position is a little stiff looking and lacks a real appeal to it. Otherwise, good work as always!

It just ended (like 5 1/2 hours ago), but for the past month I've been making art for Art Fight which explains the butt ton of drawings. Plus I've sacrificed a lot of sleep for this event. And thank you very much for the feedback! The stiff, tense pose was actually intentional because this character struck me as being very reserved and awkward, like it'd be easy to make them fell ill at ease. Although I do agree that maybe it wasn't the best choice. :/

Amazing! Love the coloring and pose on this one. The background's fucking wicked too with the way it's shaped and how it mimics that 90s style. Only thing I didn't like was the blurred tail, it looks very awkward since it's the only thing that's blurred. Otherwise, this thing's cool man, love it.

It's pretty cool. It doesn't look finished, but I still enjoy it. I love your color choices and the texture of your lines and color really interest me. Is there a specific brush or filter you use to create that texture?

TheJollyGhost responds:

i just use a grain texture png and make the layer soft light in photoshop

Haha, dude love the shining light with the facial expression. It is almost as if god is calling upon you.

MrPerry responds:

Who said he didn't. B)

Woah, fuckin' rad to be seeing your work again. Haven't browsed here as frequently as I'd like and missed out I guess. You've got such a fun, cute style that seems to work pretty well with just flat colors. I especially love the pose and expression on this one. Only thing I'd recommend is maybe making the lines a bit thicker, especially around areas like the mouth where the lines are very thin. Otherwise, keep it uppppp.

RoRo-Royerboat responds:

Woah what the heck! Thanks man, super glad you enjoy my art. c:

And I'll be sure to try that out with the lines. Don't know why I feel like I have to have those lines way thinner than the others DX

Thank you!!!

Gotta say, I really enjoy this one. Admittedly it's not, in my opinion, perfect- But I'd never say that this is a bad thing. You did this art in a way that gave it a lot of personality. Your art style matched with the colors and low resolution gave this a very nice nostalgic feel. Perhaps a 2007-2008 feeling I really enjoy. Great job, dude, you really captured the essence of what Newgrounds used to be like.

Amazing job as always.

It's been a while since I've reviewed one of your works, but it's been interesting watching as your style has sort of grown into something very consistent and stylistic. I don't see much range with it, but I don't think that's an issue seeing as your have a pretty unique style from what I've witnessed.

I love your use of coloring and the way you shade things. The colors in the piece are quite nice especially. I don't really have much in the way of criticism besides perhaps changing the fish thingie's pose or placement since he looks a little unfit.

Keep up the good work, bruh.

You literally just took one drawing you made and altered it a little bit a few times and decided to upload each one as a separate piece of art. For the love of god, can you please just put similar images into some sort of comic format so that way you aren't spamming the portal with ONE drawing? It wouldn't even bother me if you did maybe like one other outfit, but you're being very excessive. It's annoying to see you shouting your own name like that, especially when you just do the same goddamn thing with the drawings themselves by putting THREE watermarks on them each.

The drawing itself isn't too bad though. I enjoy the lighting on this one and you did a solid job with the shading. Though I wish your style was more developed and perhaps work on some anatomy since the torso looks a bit off. It's definitely one the better looking works I've seen from you, so good job.

But again. Tone down the spamming.

Good as always. Dig the simplicity on this one too, plus the color choices are on fleek as always B^))
Only issue for me is how this piece can't decide whether it's two dimensional or three. Some simple shading could fix this, or perhaps even make her right side a little more simplistic so it stays flat.

Andyo', I fucking love the way you draw hands. Any tips or tutorials you recommend? Hands are one of my weakest spots in art.

Taffytoad responds:

Thanks for the awesome critique as usual!! I swear your comments are always so on point. and in regards to hands I could have a go at giving a simple tutorial of sorts to help you out. i mainly draw them with a mix of bryan lee o'malley and egoraptors styles if that helps in terms of looking for references
